Board Chair

Ray Soto is a retired US Army Veteran who served 23 years with multiple deployments and earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.  The resiliency he developed through his years of service led to his passion for endurance running.  He has completed 20 marathons, six Ultramarathons and truly believes in the healing that comes with having a positive mind, body and spirit.  In his spare time, he runs with various running groups in the San Antonio and surrounding area and also spends time outdoors with Veterans who struggle with PTSD.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in National Security.  He is currently an Executive Director at one of the top Fortune 500  companies in America.

Elizabeth G. Rosenblum
CO- Founder 

Elizabeth Rosenblum is the co-founder of Street2Feet, a 5K training program serving those who experience homelessness. Elizabeth received her bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University in Recreational Therapy in 1991, and has twenty years experience in mental health and addiction treatment. She and a friend conceived the Street2Feet program in 2008, recognizing the importance of exercise to brain chemistry, particularly for those battling anxiety, addiction, and depression. The Program is founded on the belief that people must be whole and healthy in spirit, mind, and body, and Street2Feet thus allows Elizabeth the opportunity to combine her passion for health and exercise with her enthusiasm for watching people succeed.
Elizabeth’s work with Street2Feet has been recognized  in the community including receiving the United Way Volunteer of the Year Award; San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year Award; United Way Volunteer of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award; the Jefferson Award; and, Angels Among Us. Elizabeth is married to Rick Rosenblum, and they have two daughters. ​

Nicole Flanary

​Lisa Figueroa
Lisa Figueroa was originally born in El Paso, TX but she was raised in Brooklyn, New York. Lisa is a person in long term recovery. She has been sober since October 24, 2016. She flourished in her recovery and wanted to give back. In 2020 she got her certification in mental health peer support and in recovery support peer specialist. She is a big proponent of using exercise as a therapeutic means to help treat people struggling with homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health. Now as Alumni she wishes to continue to pay it forward by serving as a member on the board.

Elijah-Paul Washington 
Elijah-Paul is a self-proclaimed, serial entrepreneur with a passion for helping others and combat sports. When he's not overseeing the operation of his current companies, you can find him on the mats training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, or Mixed- Martial Arts. Elijah has a lifetime of experience with reinventing himself after one catastrophe or another and he makes it his mission to share this experience, strength, and hope to help out the next individual who needs it. He believes that anyone who has survived a traumatic event or experience now possesses a wealth of compassion & knowledge that can be used to actually change the world. He has founded a growing non-profit company,  a sober living home, and also owns a successful landscape construction company designed to help reintegrate struggling individuals back into healthier lifestyle choices so they can be productive and happy members of our community. Serving as a member of this board is on mission and Elijah is proud to be a small part of this.
Laura Lalinde
Street2Feet Alumni- Laura completed the ITP treatment program in 2021. During that time S2F became apart of her recovery plan. She has volunteered and participated in multiple 5ks since then alongside S2F. She currently works for a Recovery Center encouraging others through their recovery. While completing her license to become a Recovery Specialist. Laura has a passion to help others and enjoys giving back her time to current S2F members.

Neesha Grubbs

​
Neesha Grubbs is a wife, mom of 2 and San Antonio small business owner. She graduated from Texas Women’s University with a Bachelors of Science in Sociology. Through 25+ years in an executive position to growing a small business across Texas, she discovered movement through mind body connection have become super important. Sharing this passion with others and now supporting the Street2Feet organization are an absolute dream. Neesha loves the outdoors, mountains, running, and trying new fitness activities with her husband and sweet rescues, Pearl & Rose. Her boys are now grown so any travel opportunities as a family is a plus!

​Dan Holland


​Dan Holland is a Market Research Analyst for the Fair and Responsible Banking Team at Frost Bank in San Antonio, Texas.  He earned a PhD in History from the University of Pittsburgh, where he taught History at Duquesne University.  Dan started the Young Preservationists Association of Pittsburgh, the nation’s first organization dedicated to youth involvement in historic preservation.  He has served as a Vice President at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and a Senior Advisor for Community Affairs at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Pittsburgh Branch.  His forthcoming book is Communities of Resistance and Resilience in the Post-Industrial City:  A Transnational Perspective from Lyon and Pittsburgh, 1980–2010 (Routledge).
